This is a stunning authentic antique poster from 1916 promoting the play "When the new wine blooms" by Norwegian writer Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. Bjørnson received the 1903 Nobel Prize in Literature.
"When the new wine blooms" was published in 1909. The play is a comedy, and the action takes place at the Arvik family's country house.
The poster promotes a Swedish production of the play at Skådebanen in Stockholm, Sweden in 1916.
This is a very rare authentic antique and historical poster to find. Fragile. Age wear, tears. Printed on thin paper. Would look great framed.
