A wonderful authentic original vintage travel poster promoting Matopos National Park, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), Africa as a travel destination.
The Matopos National Park is the oldest in Zimbabwe, established in 1926 as Rhodes Matopos National Park, a bequest from Cecil Rhodes. The Matobo Hills were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.
The poster depicts a man and woman looking at two rhinos from their red van, probably a Datsun 1300 Van.
Text: Untamed Africa, not an hour's drive from the city of Bulawayo. The big game roam freely amid the time-worn rocks.
In very good condition.
