This is a remarkable and exceedingly rare original vintage poster created to entice travelers to Møn, an island situated in southeastern Denmark.
The poster showcases two prominent attractions: the renowned cliffs of Møns Klint, known as "Taleren," and the historic "Mølleporten" in Stege.
"Mølleporten" in Stege, Møn, stands as one of Denmark's only two well-preserved city gates. In 1873, there was a proposal to demolish the Mølleporten, but this plan was eventually abandoned. In 1895, it received protection as a valuable historical monument.
Møns Klint, the striking mountain, is also featured in this poster, particularly highlighting "Taleren," one of the remarkable formations on the northern cliff.
Impressively, it remains in very good condition and serves as a captivating window to the past, inviting travelers to explore the beauty of Møn.
