This is a rare original vintage poster designed in the Art Deco style by an unknown artist credited as GEPE. It was created to promote a modern French Art Industry Exhibition held on February 11, 1929, at "Nordiska Kompaniet" (NK). The exhibition took place in the showrooms located on the third floor of NK.
"Nordiska Kompaniet" (NK) was founded in Stockholm in 1902. This retail giant was established through the merger of two companies, K.M. Lundberg and Joseph Leja, driven by visionaries Karl Ludvig Lundberg and Josef Sachs (1872–1949). Their aim was to create a department store that could match the service levels offered by those in Paris or London.
This poster is in excellent condition, making it a valuable piece for collectors.
