Description:

A wonderful and rare original Olympic poster promoting the 1952 Xvth Olympic Games held in Helsinki, Finland. The poster depicts the Finnish middle-distance and long-distance runner Paavo Nurmi ("Flying Finn") in front of the globe with the map of Finland. Nurmi set 22 official world records at distances between 1500 meters and 20 kilometers, and won nine gold and three silver medals in his twelve events in the Olympic Games.

This poster is printed with a SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) logo on top left. Very rare!

In good condition with some repairs and tape marks. Mounted on linen. Would look great matted and framed.

This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
