The poster paints a vivid summer tableau of the Norwegian coast or fjord, with sailboats adrift amidst towering, rugged mountains. The scene may well capture a regatta, a celebration of both nature and human endeavor.

Based on records from the National Library in Stockholm, this poster is attributed to the year 1936. However, this particular copy bears a handwritten notation at the top, dating its display to May 12, 1930.

Despite some signs of age, such as minor tears at the edges and pinholes in the corners, the poster remains in very good condition, preserving its timeless allure.
