This original vintage referendum poster was utilized during the General elections held in Sweden between September 15 and 21, 1928.
The Liberal People's Party, active from 1924 to 1935, emerged due to a division within the Liberal Coalition Party over the matter of alcohol prohibition. Those opposed to the ban founded the Liberala parliamentary party.
The poster features an illustration of a man against a blue background, confronted by a large hand with a pointing finger, signifying 'you.'
The Swedish text reads: "PÅ DIG KAN UTGÅNGEN BERO. STANNA INTE HEMMA PÅ VALDAGEN DEN 15 SEPT. RÖSTA MED DE FRISINNADE."
Translation: "The outcome may depend on you. Do not stay at home on election day, September 15. Vote with the liberals (De Frisinnade)."
The poster is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of age wear.
