Presenting a rare and original vintage political poster from the 1928 Swedish parliamentary elections, this piece is a unique historical artifact. The poster employs a cartoon-like scene set in a bakery, utilizing bakery metaphors to convey its political message.
The Swedish text translates to: "Möller made the dough for the legislation against trade unions. Ekman and the other bourgeois bake the loaves. That's why the workers' slogan in the fall election will be: Out with the whole bakery! Out with both open and 'principled' supporters of legislation against trade unions. In with the Communists."
The call "in med kommunisterna ut med borgarna" (in with the Communists, out with the bourgeoisie) was meant to be used as a rallying cry before the 1928 parliamentary elections.
While the poster displays significant wear, tears, margin damage, crumpling, and scratches, its vibrant colors and unique historical context make it a fascinating and valuable piece that reflects the political climate of its time.
