This iconic statue graces Sjömanstornet at the Maritime Museum Akvariet in Gothenburg.

During the early 20th century, various Swedish companies organized fairs to showcase the country's industrial prowess. This led to the conception of a dedicated congress center, culminating in the opening of the official Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre on 8 July 1918.
