This original vintage poster from the 1968 Winter Olympics promotes Autrans, the venue for the Nordic skiing competitions. Autrans, a former commune in the Isère department in the Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France, hosted biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and the ski jumping normal hill events during the Grenoble Olympics.
The poster features the 1968 Winter Olympics emblem at the lower left, which includes a snow crystal among three red roses, the symbol of Grenoble, and the five Olympic rings in monochrome. Surrounding the image are the words "X Olympic Winter Games - Grenoble 1968."
