This original vintage poster issued in 1933 serves to promote the draw on the Government's Premium Bonds of 1933.
The poster showcases the Three Crowns, the national emblem of Sweden, present in the coat of arms of Sweden, in gold and brown/red ink.
A Swedish premium bond is a type of government bond, signifying that those purchasing premium bonds are essentially lending money to the treasury. Issued by the National Debt Office, the premium bonds do not pay interest directly to individual holders. Instead, the National Debt Office accumulates the interest in a pool, drawing winners from the bondholders. Holders are not guaranteed interest but have the chance to win money in each draw.
While the poster is in very good condition, it does show some signs of age, including small folds. Nonetheless, it remains a historical artifact representing the Premium Bonds draw of the 1930s.
