This is an original vintage movie poster for the 1951 British film *Where No Vultures Fly*, directed by Harry Watt and starring Anthony Steel and Dinah Sheridan. Released in the United States under the title *Ivory Hunter*, the film was inspired by the conservation efforts of Mervyn Cowie.
Set in East Africa, the story follows game warden Bob Payton (Anthony Steel) as he becomes horrified by the destruction of wildlife due to illegal ivory hunting. Determined to protect the animals, Payton establishes a wildlife sanctuary while facing dangers from both wild animals and a notorious ivory poacher, played by Harold Warrender.
The film was highly popular, ranking as the second most-watched in British cinemas in 1952.
This poster shows fold marks and signs of age wear, but remains in good condition, preserving the legacy of this classic conservation-themed adventure.
