This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
This poster is stunning! A great and very rare travel poster from Zimbabwe from the days when it was called Rhodesia. At that time, you normally traveled by ship from Southampton via the Mediterranean and the Suez Chanel down the east coast of Africa to Beira, Mozambique. You then travelled by land to Rhodesia.
Like the text on the poster: Two days from the Cape - One day from Beira. In the inset map you see destinations like Victoria Fall, Wankie, Bulawayo and Salisbury.
The illustration is signed "Edwards" in the image. It's not dated but is probably from the 1930's if not earlier.
