Original vintage poster. Parliamentary elections were held in Norway on 10 October 1949. The result was a victory for the Labour Party, which won 85 of the 150 seats in the Storting. Bondepartiet received 4.9% of the votes.
The poster carries the bold slogan “Mer statsdirigering? Flere skjemaer? Nei! Større frihet! Større ansvar!” — a clear protest against post-war state regulation and bureaucracy, and a call for greater freedom and personal responsibility. Striking graphic design with the dramatic green Nei! against a black ground, emphasizing simplicity and impact.
In excellent condition.
