Henrik "Murre" Morén was the first Swedish nationally known bicycle star and also dominant in the Swedish and Nordic cycling during the Swedish Bicycle Union's first 20-25 years. He debuted as a cyclist for the sports club Sleipner in 1900 and kept on going for many years. He rode Hermes bicycles by "Nymans verkstäder".
The "Morén-loppet" was a race named after him, between Gothenburg and Stockholm (510 km), which he participated at 60-year-old with the finishing time 20:32:58. Not many of these posters are still alive (if any other..) Cool old bicycle poster ready to go on the wall.
