This a really cool poster by Mednis depicting a blonde woman in local costume looking out on the beautiful landscape outside her railway coach window. Latvia (Lettland) is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe.
Mednis studied at the Riga City Art School (1914 - 1915) and the Kazan Art School (1915 - 1918). He also lived some time in the US, where he completed decorative works in churches and public buildings in New York.
A beautiful poster that would look good on the wall.
