This a great poster from one of the masters of Swiss travel posters, Martin Peikert. Guess the poster depicts a scene from the spring in Champèry overlooking the church clock tower, and in the behind tennis courts and snow capped mountain peaks. Great image.
Champéry is a municipality in the district of Monthey in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The Champéry – Planachaux cable-car takes skiers to the Portes du Soleil recreational area, at an altitude of 2,000 m. With 194 ski lifts and over 650 km of ski slopes, this is the largest international ski area in the world.
