This is a very cool Australian travel poster showing the historical moment of "The Landing of Captain Cook at Botany Bay".
The Australian poster artist Percy Trompf designed this beautiful historical scene. His bright, colorful, optimistic pictures had wide appeal, especially during the Depression. Trompf supervised all stages of production, including the printing. He designed a lot of spectacular Australian travel posters and is very sought after.
It’s in excellent condition. A real gem ready to sparkle on your wall.
