This an extremely rare vintage poster promoting the 1923 International Automobile Exhibition in Gothenburg. The exhibition was opened by Swedish King Gustav V.
The city of Gothenburg celebrated its 300th anniversary in 1923 and a cultural center was constructed for the commemorative exhibition (jubileumsutställningen). The International Automobile Exhibition was arranged in conjunction with commemorative exhibition together with the International Civil Aviation Exhibition, which Meurling also designed the poster for.
A stunning and extremely rare poster. Wonderful design!
