McGregor Colors of the Hebrides

A lovely original vintage poster promoting the McGregor Clothing brand: "Rugged and Misty as the Northern Isles".

The poster depicts a man wearing a modern McGregor outfit of the time walking up from a contry house close to the seaside in Outer Hebrides and Isle of Skye. 

McGregor Doniger was formed in 1921 by David D. Doniger. The McGregor label was first used in 1923. The company was a maker of men’s’ and boys’ sportswear. By the 1950s they were one of the leading men’s sportswear companies in the US.
