A stunning original vintage poster designed by Otto Ernst to promote the villages Samnaun-Compatsch in Unterengadin during the summer months. A lovely rendering depicting the valley with Alpine villages and peaking mountains.
Samnaun is a high Alpine village and a valley at the eastern end of Switzerland and a municipality in the Engiadina Bassa/Val Müstair Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Samnaun was earlier said to be a smugglers’ paradise and located in the Swiss, Austrian and Italian triangles. In winter it is a cross-border ski region with Ischgl (Austria).
Great colors. In very good condition.
