In the 1940's the Swedish Garages National Association (Bilverkstädernas Riksförbund, BR) and the Swedish Crafts Institute (Hantverksinstitutet) started a campaign for economic petrol trimming of cars to adapt to the petrol shortage after the hard times of war in Europe.
This is one of the posters from the campaign with the slogan: “Gör bensinekonomi till en sport! Bliv pedalmästare i Din bil!” (Make petrol economics a sport! Become a pedal master in your car!)
A very rare poster. You don’t find much information from this campaign.
