A great original vintage poster issued by SAS Scandinavian Airline System using the slogan: “Volez par SAS les Vikings Volants” meaning Fly by SAS - the Flying Vikings.
Every SAS-aircraft carries a Viking-name, but only one aircraft type was actually called the Viking. SAS inherited four British-built Vickers V.628 Viking I from Det Danske Luftfartsselskab (DDL).
The Vickers VC.1 Viking is a British twin-engine short-range airliner derived from the Vickers Wellington bomber and built by Vickers-Armstrongs Limited at Brooklands near Weybridge in Surrey.
This is cool the French version of the flying Vikings poster from that period. The poster is mention in Gebrauchsgraphik | February 1, 1951 | page 57,
In good condition. Some signs of foxing or dirt at the bottom. Mounted on linen.
