SAS Africa Giraffe

This is an original authentic SAS poster from 1955, designed by Otto Nielsen to promote the airline's flights to Scandinavia. Nielsen was a prolific artist who produced many works for SAS from the late 1940s to the 1970s.

The poster features a striking image of a herd of giraffes against a yellow background, with a SAS aircraft flying above them. Interestingly, the same image can be found in a SAS calendar from 1955.

Although the poster has some edge wear at the upper left margin, it is still in great condition. It has been professionally mounted on linen with an acid-free barrier to ensure its preservation.
