A marvelous original vintage poster with the slogan "A new blue train to the Côte d'Azur" issued by Wagons Lits Co. P.L.M. Rys.
This stunning Art Deco design was created by Pierre Zenobel to promote night express trains to the French Riviera and the Mediterranean with the famous Wagon lits trains.
The Calais-Mediterranée Express was a luxury French night express train that transported wealthy and famous passengers between Calais and the French Riviera before World War II.
Some restoration at top. Foxing at lower right. Mounted on linen. An extremely rare poster!
