The poster depicts a red Rigi Railways train carriage making its way up the steep Rigi mountain at the foot of Lake Lucerne with a great view of snow capped Alps in the background.
Rigi Railways (Rigi Bahn) is a group of railways on the mountain Rigi, located between two of the arms of Lake Lucerne, in Switzerland. Reaching a height of 1,752 meters (5,748 ft) above sea level, the Rigi Railways are the highest standard gauge railway in Europe.
