A rare original vintage African travel poster depicting the Eastern Cataract, Victoria Falls. During the dry season, it is sometimes possible to walk along the top of the Eastern Cataract and Rainbow Falls as no water is coming over the edge at that time.
Victoria Falls original name in the Sotho language name is "Mosi-oa-Tunya" - "The Smoke That Thunders".
The Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland was a federal semi-Dominion that consisted of three southern African territories—the self-governing British colony of Southern Rhodesia and the British protectorates of Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland—between 1953 and 1963.
The poster is in very good condition. Note the size.
