Original Swedish vintage travel poster issued to promote Stockholm as a travel destination just after WWII depicting several iconic tourist sights like the Stockholm City Hall and the statue of Engelbrekt.
The Stockholm City Hall (Stockholm Stadhus) that was completed in 1923. It’s the venue of the Nobel Prize banquet and is one of Stockholm’s major tourist attractions.
Adding to its historical value, this poster is mentioned in the book "Poster Gallery: The Best Posters of 1946" by J. I Biegeleisen, further highlighting its significance as a notable piece of art.
Water stain at bottom. Wear. Small tears, pinholes, small holes, paper loss, etc. Would look good in a frame.
