A stunning authentic original vintage poster in double size (Quad Royal) published by Det Bergenske Dampskibsselskab (BDS).
The poster depicts the Steamship Meteor in the Geiranger Fjord. Meteor was bought by Det Bergenske Dampskibsselskab from Royal Mail in 1921. DY "Meteor" and MY "Stella Polaris" were BDS’s flagships along the Norwegian fjords for many years.
Some age wear, fold marks.
A very rare poster. No previously registered sales. Mounted on linen many years ago.
