This is a wonferful and rare poster designed by A.O. Bruun for Oslo’s 900 years anniversary. Oslo was foundet about 1000 AD and established a "kaupstad" or trading place in 1048 by King Harald III.
The poster depicts “the old King” overlooking the fjords and hills of the modern 1950 city of Oslo, capital of Norway.
Minimal horizontal fold. Professonally conserved and mounted on japan paper. Two small tears on the lower edge is restored.
In great condition. Would look wonderful on the wall!
