A rare original vintage airline posters issued to promote flights to the Orient depicting Asian artifacts like a dragon, elephant, the Torii Gate and aBuddha Statue. A PAL aircraft in the air.
Philippine Air Lines, founded in 1941 is the flag carrier of the Philippines is the first and oldest commercial airline in Asia operating under its original name.
Philippine Air Lines flew the Douglas DC-6 in the 1950's as well at the PAL logo shows that this poster is from the same period.
Mounted on linen. In poor condition with several signs of wear. Several long tears, creases, dirt. It would look good if framed and hanging on a wall.
