This adorable original vintage travel poster was issued in 1953 to celebrate Stockholm 700 years anniversary.
Actually was Stockholm 700 years already in 1952, but since the Olympics Games was held in Helsinki in 1952 it was decided to celebrate the jubilee a year later to not compete about the travelers.
Curt Blixt won the poster contest for the anniversary with his lovely Stockholm rendering called “Mälardrottning”.
In great condition. Light edge wear.
