Lillehammer 94 Winter Olympics - No.01

Original vintage official poster for the 1994 Olympics held in Lillehammer, Norway.

The poster depicts the Torch Runner ("Fakkelmannen") and other plictograms of the games inspired by Norwegian rock paintings that are several thousand years old, such as the oldest depiction of a skier known to mankind: a rock painting discovered on the island of Rødøy in the municipality of Alstahaug in northern Norway.

At top the official Emblem. The Emblem consists of a white, stylised Northern Lights in the night sky, a crystal pattern symbolising a snow flurry and winter landscape, the Olympic rings and the name “Lillehammer’94”.

This is the normal size. In excellent condition.
