This is a stunning very rare authentic antique poster printed in stone-lithography promoting the "Bürgenstock & Stanserhorn railways". Bürgenstock is a famous mountain located in the middle of Lake Lucerne, Switzerland. The Bürgenstock Bahn is a funicular railway, opened in 1888 and was the first electric railway in Switzerland.
At top was the Hotel Kurhaus, a resort that achieved worldwide fame as a retreat and holiday place for celebrities. The new Bürgenstock Resort reopened in 2017.
