This is a wonderful original vintage poster designed by for 900-year anniversary in Oslo in 1950.
Michaelsen had the winning draft in the competition for Oslo's 900th anniversary poster in 1950. Titled: "Centuries" - Norwegian: "Sekler".
The poster depicts the Oslo City Hall and a Viking King. According to the sagas, Harald Hardråde (Harald Hardrada) founded Oslo, where he spent much time.
This version with the text: "Kunstbyen Feriebyen" is very rare.
In excellent condition.
