This is a stunning original vintage Dutch KLM poster promoting flights to South Africa.
The poster depicts a native African with his spear and shield watching a KLM airplane in the sky, with historical scenes of South African mining and pioneers in covered wagons.
KLM was established on 7 October 1919, making it the world’s oldest airline still operating under its original name.
In very good condition. A tear at upper left. Light wear. Mounted on linen. Would look stunning framed.
