This is an authentic original vintage travel poster issued to promote Finland as a winter destination.

The poster depicts a female skier in a winterly snowy scene looking at a Sámi person with his reindeer coming up the hill. The Sámi are using domesticated reindeer for transport.

The area of the Lapland region borders the Northern Ostrobothnia region in the south, in the west Sweden, in the north and west Norway and in the east Russia.
