This is an original, authentic vintage poster issued by Finnair in 1958, titled "Destination North of Finland," also known as the "Flying Fish." The poster was designed by the esteemed Erik, who was an avid salmon fisherman in the 1950s. Inspired by his passion, he creatively depicted an airplane in the form of a flying fish.
This poster is highly sought after by collectors of Finnair memorabilia. Finnair, the flag carrier and largest full-service legacy airline of Finland, is now the sixth-oldest airline in the world. The poster shows some signs of wear, including fold marks and tiny tears, but would look stunning framed on a wall, sure to be a conversation starter.
