This is an original vintage travel poster promoting Lapland, Finland as a travel destination.
Lapland is a region located in the northernmost part of Finland, extending into Sweden, Norway, and Russia. It is known for its breathtaking natural landscapes, including vast forests, pristine lakes, and the Arctic tundra. Lapland is particularly famous for being the home of the indigenous Sami people, who have inhabited the region for thousands of years and have a rich cultural heritage.
The poster depicts an open landscape with mountains and lakes close to both Sweden and Norway. In this land of wide open spaces, where three Nordic countries meet, reindeer and man alike roam free. The best-known tourist attractions in Kilpisjärvi are the Saana fell and the "three-country border point", a monument at the border point of Finland, Sweden and Norway.
With heavy trimmed margins, the poster is in B- condition, displaying light creases and traces of handling. Would look good framed.
