Norsk Konst 1968 Nationalmuseum

This is an original 1968 exhibition poster promoting a showcase of Norwegian art at the Swedish National Museum, featuring an artwork from Edvard Munch titled "Badende kvinner Åsgårdstrand." 

Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter and graphic artist known for his iconic painting "The Scream." He was a part of the Symbolist movement and his work often dealt with themes of love, death, anxiety and alienation. He was deeply influenced by the death of his family and his style is characterized by bold colors, expressive lines, and distorted forms. He continues to be a major influence in modern and contemporary art.
