Introducing an exceedingly rare original vintage poster showcasing the Knut Lindroth 1916 tour featuring the late 15th-century morality play "Everyman." This play was revitalized in 1911 by Hugo von Hofmannsthal and translated into Swedish by Emil Hillberg. Knut Lindroth, a notable Swedish actor and theater director, played a key role in bringing this production to life.
The play "Everyman" was originally composed in Middle English during the Tudor period, though the author's identity remains unknown.
While the poster is in good condition, it does show signs of age wear, including small tears and the inherent fragility of the paper. Its rarity adds to its historical significance.
