Presenting a highly sought-after original vintage airline poster issued by Icelandair in the 1970s. Icelandic Airlines (Loftleidir) was a prominent private Icelandic airline headquartered at Reykjavík Airport, specializing in transatlantic flights connecting Europe and America.
The poster features a Boeing 727 soaring through the skies, set against the picturesque backdrop of Hraunfossar in Borgarfjörður. These cascading waterfalls are created by rivulets flowing over a distance of approximately 900 meters from Hallmundarhraun, a lava field formed by an eruption beneath Langjökull glacier.
