This original vintage poster, created for the "Västeråsutställningen 1929," was designed by the talented Swedish artist Brita Nordencreutz, a native of Västerås. Nordencreutz's artistic journey took her to prominent schools in Stockholm, Paris (André Lhote's school of painting), and Munich (Hoffman's painting school). She is renowned for her vibrant landscapes and figurative motifs.

The poster offers a condensed view of Västerås, showcasing various landmarks, the bustling harbor with cruise ships and sailboats, and even an airplane soaring overhead. The 1929 Västerås exhibition covered a wide array of themes, including crafts, industry, handicrafts, art, cultural history, and tourism. The Nordic Museum notably contributed with an exhibition on the country's manor houses.
