Introducing an exceptionally scarce original vintage ski poster, created to promote the "Vinterspelen 1929 Hudiksvall" or the Winter Games of 1929 in Hudiksvall, Sweden.
The poster captures the essence of the event with a vibrant portrayal of a male skier clad in a striking red sweater, racing downhill at full speed.
During the Winter Games of 1929, which also served as the Swedish Championships, the courses extended towards Hede, with the starting and finishing point located at Fredens Kulle. Per-Erik Hedlund, also known as "Särna-Hedlund," was the skiing champion who excelled on these ski tracks.
The poster bears the signature "Kise Bom," which represents the combined efforts of "Kieseberg-Bohm." According to Hudiksvalls Posten on February 14, 1942, this remarkable poster was designed by Mrs. Marte Bohm.
Professionally mounted on linen to preserve its quality, the poster exhibits minor signs of age-related wear. A tear at the lower right margin has been meticulously restored, ensuring the poster's continued rarity and collectible value. Don't miss the chance to own this unique piece of history!
