Murnau am Staffelsee is a market town in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the region called Oberbayern in Bavaria, Germany.
This is a great poster by Henel who studied both at the Academy in Wroclaw and at the Art Academy in Munich. He lived for many years in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Henel worked as a commercial artist in Munich for the Munich-known companies such as Lodenfrey or Sporthaus Schuster. He made several colorful posters and this is no exception. A great poster with vivid color. Would look great on any wall.
