This original vintage Thailand travel poster features a dancer performing Fawn Leb, the traditional fingernail dance of northern Thailand. The caption reads: “Fawn Leb: Chiangmai’s charming nail dance.”
Originating in Chiang Mai and northern Thailand, Fawn Leb is distinguished by the long curved fingernails worn by the dancers and by its graceful, controlled hand movements. The colourful photographic portrait makes this an especially attractive example of vintage Thai tourism advertising.
Condition: Pinholes in each corner and some age wear. Overall a very decorative vintage poster.
