This original vintage Italy travel poster was issued by ENIT (Ente Nazionale Italiano per il Turismo) to promote tourism to Italy. The striking modern design combines classical Italian heritage with bold post-war graphic design, placing the face of an ancient sculpture alongside a radiant golden sun and a large red luggage tag simply marked "ITALY."

The composition contrasts antiquity with the optimism and energy of modern tourism. The classical head, rendered in a photographic halftone, is dramatically divided by the glowing face of the sun, while sweeping yellow and blue strokes give the poster a strong sense of movement. The luggage-tag motif immediately connects Italy's artistic heritage with international travel.
