This is a cool photomontage depicting a captain looking out to sea through his binoculars. A great and rare poster by Richard Beck (1912-1985). Beck practised as an industrial designer and graphic artist in the UK and Australia.
The poster shows the ports of call from Europe to Australia via Gibraltar - Palma - Toulon - Naples - Port Said - Suez Canal - Aden - and Colombo. Taking us back in time to the golden age of travel.
