Henry John Yeend King was a London landscape and rustic genre painter. Yeend King was typical of many late Victorian painters of rustic genre, often painting garden scenes with pretty girls. No girls in the painting :-)
This is a extremely rare Swedish poster promoting the Gota Canal. It's very early. Have only seen this once.
