This is a wonderful world map by Walter Eckhard depicts a Mercator projection of the short waves Philips enabled and could be picked up by their radios.
In the 1930s Philips Radio issued a number of these promotional maps, all highlighting the locations of shortwave stations and filled with decorative imagery.
